  The ER sent me to the walk in clinic since I didn't have a doctor to refill my benzos. It was my first visit. Erin Carver PA is the person I was unlucky enough to get stuck with. I just changed family doctors. My psychiatrist moved out of state. Ive been taking xanax for over 12 years. I'm being forced to quit cold turkey. Erin Carver was absolutely rude!!! If I believed in Satan, I would think that he is inhabiting Erin Carver's body and soul. I would rather die from withdrawals than to ever see her again. She shamed me for my suicide attempt and for not knowing what milligram xanax I had been taking. She tried to make me go to an inpatient stay at a Psych place, I just got out of inpatient stay!! (I had the discharge papers with me- and the doctor after-care instructions, which included the list of meds/benzos the doctor ordered me to keep taking.) Erin Carver made me so nervous!! This is not the right person to help folks with mental/emotional problems. She made me feel much worse instead of better. I'm 40 years old. This isn't my first rude physician assistant. She should be fired. She shouldn't be allowed to emotionally and verbally abuse VULNERABLE people. I'm scared to go back for the appointment I have with a different person. I called the office, to make a complaint about Erin Carver and the way she mistreated me. Supposedly, I spoke to the "office manager, Monica". She said this was the first complaint she ever received about Erin Carver, (she must not read the reviews online!) The tone of her voice spoke volumes about how little she cared. She didn't say or do anything to ease my fears about returning to that office. In fact, they had already canceled the appointment that I had set, apparently because I was fearful to return! I recommend ANYTHING besides this clinic. There is one very sweet person there, Corinne. Thank you for being a bright light! I wish someone with real authority could see how awful it is there. But mental illness still has the ugly stigma and discrimination, such that no one really cares. Where does that leave us, when places like THIS are our only hope?
